Cruel Intentions: The Musical has turned the 90s nostalgia level up to eleven.

Previews begin tonight (Wednesday, October 25) for the New York Premiere of Uncommon Sense, a new play inspired by true stories of people living on the autism spectrum, written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris, and directed by Andy Paris.

Tectonic Theater Project presents the New York premiere of Uncommon Sense, a new play about living on the autism spectrum, which the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents for five weeks only, running tonight, October 25, through November 26, at The Sheen Center's Loreto Theater (18 Bleecker Street, NYC).

Due to overwhelmingly strong ticket sales, the critically acclaimed production of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song has added one final week of performances, announced Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director). The production will now play through Saturday, December 9 and will not be able to extend further.

Following two sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a sold-out pop-up engagement in NYC, Cruel Intentions: The Musical - the stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin and Roger Kumble - has announced the cast for its ten-week engagement at (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) this fall.

Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song, directed by Mois s Kaufman, opens tonight at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater (305 West 43rd Street). The production will play an extended run through Sunday, December 3.

The Hip Hop Nutcracker (www.hiphopnutcracker.com or #hiphopnutcracker), a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, hits the road this holiday season to 28 U.S. cities. The show premieres in Riverside, CA on November 9 and will play cities from coast to coast. Produced by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) with Executive Producer, Eva Price, and co-commissioned by the United Palace of Cultural Arts, The Hip Hop Nutcracker will feature Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop's founding fathers, opening the show in most cities with a short set before rapping the introduction.
