Elton John will close his Las Vegas Strip Show 'The Red Piano' on April 22.
The show first opened in February of 2004 at the Colosseum theater at Caesars Palace and was extended past the original 75 show commitment. The closing show will be the 241st performance.
He has survived the ups and downs of musical stardom for over 30 years. Commercially, creatively, on stage and on record, Elton John is a legendary artist - one who is still as relevant as ever.
Elton John's finely honed stage presence, a winning factor in targeting his tunes straight into the heart of America, is excess incarnate. In The Red Piano, the showy costumes are replaced by incredible video imagery and stage props, yet the end result is unmistakably classic Elton John.

The 2008 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) Awards show was a night full of musical highlights and heavyweights as SHOF Chairman/CEO Hal David and President Linda Moran helped induct songwriting heavyweights including Desmond Child, Albert Hammond, Loretta Lynn, Alan Menken and John Sebastian into its hallowed Hall, and saluted honorees Paul Anka, Anne Murray, John Rzeznik and Milt Okun for their contributions to popular music.

Sara Jean Ford performed her cabaret show 'It's About Time' as a benefit of BC/EFA on January 2nd at Davenport's in Chicago. The show was produced and directed by 'Jersey Boys' Drew Gehling and featured the music of Will Reynolds and Eric Price.
