The 57th Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards ceremony will see theatre makers celebrating excellence in theatre in a gala presentation later this month.

After a 1 year delay due to the pandemic, Cypress College Theatre Arts Department proudly presents HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical. Featuring hit songs like, 'Good Morning Star Shine' and 'Aquarius', Hair was the first rock musical on Broadway, and tells the story of the 'tribe', a group of politically active, long-haired hippies during the anti-war, sexual revolution of the 1960s.

After garnering strong support for her most recent single, 'Something Like That,' singer-songwriter Alannah McCready has now released a new single titled 'Can I Call.' The song tells the story of a long-distance relationship; a couple is living on two separate coasts, one of them is chasing their dreams and working to create a better life for them both. The song describes the multitude of feelings accompanying such a situation, including being in love, experiencing loneliness, and having hope for the future.

The Richmond County Orchestra performs 'Strike up the Band,' a concert in celebration of Jewish Music Month on Sunday, March 27th at 3 pm featuring singer-songwriter Ryan Berkowitz, pianist Olga Gurevich, child soprano Adeline Cherny, Anita Berger with the St Cecelia singers  and with Maestro Alan Aurelia conducting the Richmond County Orchestra.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced initial programming for a six-week festival of events paired with the East Coast premiere of COAL + ICE, a documentary photography exhibition that brings together the work of over 50 photographers and video artists from around the world.

A Tempest (Une Tempête) will take place LIVE in person on Monday February 28th at 7:30pm at FIAF Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) with simultaneous Livestream broadcast. Video-on-Demand will be available through Sunday March 6th until 11:59 PM EST.
