NYU Steinhardt's Program in Vocal Performance will present the musical Guys and Dolls from September 20-24, 2018. The show features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, and is based on a story and characters of Damon Runyon. Annika Boras directs and Cynthia Cahill is the associate director. 

NYU Steinhardt's Program in Vocal Performance will present Dialogues of the Carmelites from March 29-April 1, 2018. The opera in three acts features music by Francis Poulenc and libretto by the composer after Georges Bernanos' play Dialogues des Carmelites. The English translation is by Joseph Machlis. Michael Scarola is the stage director and NYU Steinhardt's Michael Ricciardone is the music director. 

NYU Steinhardt's Program in Vocal Performance will present Lerner and Loewe's Brigadoon from September 21 25, 2017. The show features book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Renowned dancer and choreographer Agnes de Mille created the original dances. NYU Steinhardt's MK Lawson directs and choreographs.

An enthralling production of William Shakespeare's 'Richard III' is onstage at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Directed by Paul Mullins and featuring a stellar cast, the show will be performed through Sunday, November 6th.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be available through the month of October when The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, in partnership with Drew University, presents a "double-bill" experience for students and adults. From October 6th - 30th, a single copy of the original First Folio, one of the world's most valuable, rare and influential books will be on public display at Drew University's Mead Hall. The Plantation Project, under the direction of Claire Beckman (co-founder of Brooklyn's Brave New World Rep) presents an inaugural, site-specific staged reading of The Plantation, Beckman's adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard. This immersive production on-book will feature costumes, live music and an Equity cast.

Due to popular pre-sale demand, Berkeley Repertory Theatre announces it will extend Hershey Felder's popular and critically acclaimed one-man show Monsieur Chopin, a celebrated musical biography of legendary composer Fryderyk Chopin, ahead of its debut. Originally scheduled to run through August 3, the show will now run for an additional eight performances through Sunday, August 10. This summer come along with Felder to Paris in 1848...to a work of love and art and the place where his soul resides, in the depths of Chopin's music. In his passionate portrayal of the 'Poet of the Piano,' Felder reveals the beloved and romantic composer's secrets about his creations against a gorgeous, lush score of more than a dozen compositions. Monsieur Chopin begins previews July 25, opens July 27, and plays through August 10, 2014 on the intimate Thrust Stage.
