Grab your popcorn and get those tweeting fingers ready! Oscar Night is officially upon us! As mentioned earlier, while Hollywood's annual toast to the best in film is not as 'full-on Broadway' as, say, that other awards show typically held in June, this year's ceremony is looking to be a more theatrical, thanks in no small part to the overwhelming success of a certain little-known film called LA LA LAND (and hey… don't a couple people involved in that film have a big Broadway hit on their hands as well? Hmmm…???)

Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for a role with relatively little screen-time in MANCHESTER BY THE SEA. As Randi Chandler, wife of protagonist Lee Chandler - played by Casey Affleck - she was able to make a strong impression displaying the couple's complex relationship with just a handful of scenes.
MAN FROM NEBRASKA Extends Through March 26 at Second Stage Theatre

Due to extremely high ticket demand, Second Stage Theatre's New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts' play, MAN FROM NEBRASKA, has announced a two-week extension after opening to extremely positive reviews on February 15th. The production will now play through March 26 at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street).
