Award-winning actor Matt Damon was the recipient of the 24th American Cinematheque Award at a gala held this past March at the Beverly Hilton. The presentation and celebration will be televised in the hour-long special, 'Hollywood Salutes Matt Damon: An American Cinematheque Tribute,' airing THURSDAY, MAY 27 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Spike TV announced today the fourth annual 'Guys Choice' - a one-night-only event for guys where the year's most hotly debated rivalries from the world of sports, comedy, film and more go up against one another mano-a-mano with original categories that embody everything that matters in 'guydom.' One of the fastest rising stars in comedy, Aziz Ansari is set to host the nineteenth annual MTV MOVIE AWARDS, premiering LIVE on MTV, Sunday June 6 from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. This is Ansari's first time hosting the awards show. The award presentation concluded an evening of in-person tributes from Damon's colleagues Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Clint Eastwood; Jimmy Kimmel, Greg Kinnear, Charlize Theron and Robin Williams. In addition, George Clooney and Ben Stiller paid tribute by partaking in individual pre-taped comedy sketches while President William Jefferson Clinton appeared in and narrates a piece surrounding Damon's humanitarian efforts that was be played during the show.
