The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 2013-14 Family Series with "Shooting for the Stars"-a program featuring galaxy-inspired music that invites young concertgoers to reach for their dreams. NJSO Education & Community Engagement Conductor Jeffrey Grogan leads the concert, which takes place on Saturday, November 30, at 2 pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. Family Series artist-in-residence Ben Steinfeld-co-founder and artistic director of the critically lauded Fiasco Theater-hosts. Steinfeld, who has delighted NJSO family audiences for seasons, brings his trademark humor and theatrics to the concert.
Sundance Institute today announced the three projects and two artists-in-residence that will participate in its two-week (December 1-15) Theatre Lab for musical theatre and ensemble-generated projects, taking place for the third time at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Lab is one of the Theatre Program's five annual development opportunities for theatre artists around the world.

Due to popular demand, McCarter Theatre has announced one additional performance of its smash-hit production of Into the Woods as reimagined by Fiasco Theater Company.
