As BroadwayWorld previously reported, after critically acclaimed and sold out engagements at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Aldwych Theatre in London, the theatrical event Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 will arrive on Broadway the first day of spring, Friday, March 20th, 2015, and thus officially usher in the spring season.

Due to overwhelming success, Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company are thrilled to announce that Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies will extend by four weeks. The productions will now play at the Aldwych Theatre until 4 October 2014. Tickets for the extension go on public sale today.

On Saturday 17th May, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies celebrated their opening night at the Aldwych Theatre, London WC2. The West End company includes Ben Miles as Cromwell, Nathaniel Parker as Henry VIII, Lydia Leonard as Anne Boleyn, Paul Jesson as Cardinal Wolsey and Lucy Briers as Katherine of Aragon.

Ebony Repertory Theatre (ERT - Founder/Producer Wren T. Brown) announced today that Phillip Hayes Dean's (Drama Desk-winner for The Sty of the Blind Pig) powerful and moving play PAUL ROBESON has been extended by popular demand for three more performances and will now play through Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. The production, directed by Mr. Dean, stars two-time Emmy Award-winner Keith David (Fox's new series Enlisted) with accompaniment by pianist/musical director Byron J. Smith (working with numerous artists including Wynton Marsalis, Barbra Streisand, BeBe Winans). Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company have announced that the sell-out productions of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies will transfer to the Aldwych Theatre from 1 May for a strictly limited season until 6 September. RSC Members Priority Booking opens at 10am on Thursday 6 March. Public Booking opens at 10am on Monday 10 March.
