Recording artist Lucy Morningstar today announced the release of Hot Air Balloon, the debut album from Lucy's musically eclectic folk/rock ensemble, Lucid Lion. Lucid Lion are touring the country this summer to promote the release and have scheduled a CD release concert at Freddy's Social Club in Brooklyn , New York.

The Hollywood Bowl has added Glen Campbell, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more to its upcoming season.

FRONT ROW CENTER, a new music television series that brings the live concert experience home, is scheduled to debut its inaugural season on public television stations across the country beginning April, 2012 (check local listings).

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced yesterday 35 new shows to its summer schedule at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Tickets are on sale now to members and go on sale Saturday, March 24 at 10am to the public.

John Prine will come to Morris Performing Arts Center, April 14. The long list of songwriters who have recorded gems from his extensive catalog include Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, the Everly Brothers, John Denver, Kris Kristofferson, Carly Simon, Ben Harper, Joan Baez, and many others. Prine has two Grammys and the distinction of being one of the few songwriters honored by the Library of Congress and US Poet Laureate.
