This marks the ninth consecutive nomination and subsequent award representing an industry-wide acknowledgement that the Hollywood Bowl is an icon with a rich and celebrated history, and that it remains a vital and relevant destination for performers and audiences alike.

After much anticipation, Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks, confirmed today that she will release her debut solo album, MOTHER, on Columbia Records on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Critically acclaimed thenewno2 have announced the release of their debut original score and soundtrack for BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. Beautiful Creatures Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (WaterTower Music) will be available February 12 both digitally and through all major retailers.

Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Kenny Chesney, Ben Harper, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Jim James, Elton John, Juanes, John Legend, Natalie Maines, Tim McGraw, Tom Morello, Mumford & Sons, Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Sting, Eddie Vedder, and Neil Young will perform at the tribute concert in honor of 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year Bruce Springsteen. The sold-out gala will take place Feb. 8, 2013, two days prior to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Additional performers will be announced shortly.

The Barns at Wolf Trap presents two evenings with famed Folk-Rock veterans, plus an Eclectic Harmonic Jazz Performance from a Flecktone. First, The Barns at Wolf Trap presents Karla Bonoff & Steve Forbert performing tonight, November 14 at 8 pm and Thursday, November 15 at 8 pm. Tickets are priced at $27.

World renowned superstar Katy Perry has requested donations be made to the David Lynch Foundation, a US-based charity that provides meditation instruction at no charge to inner-city school kids and veterans suffering from the traumatic stress of combat. Perry made the request to her more than 28,000,000 twitter followers that they support David Lynch Foundation in honor of her upcoming birthday on October 25.

The collection, available in CD and digital formats, features 12 of Harper's most unforgettable songs, including 'Forever,' 'Diamonds On The Inside,' and 'Waiting On An Angel,' and also introduces a new ballad, 'Crazy Amazing,' which is exclusive to this release. By My Side also includes a rare studio version of 'Not Fire Not Ice,' previously unreleased in the U.S., which until now was available only on the international single for 'Ground On Down.'

Bestowed yearly upon a Northern Virginia influencer in honor of their commitment to advancing the region, Jones was recognized during a luncheon attended by 700 leaders of the corporate, nonprofit, and political community.
