Musician, composer and collaborator extraordinaire, Iain Grandage has taken out the 2013 Sidney Myer Performing Arts Individual Award ($50,000) while leading Indigenous theatre company, Ilbijerri, whose work is capturing national attention, has been recognised with the Group Award ($80,000). Philip Rolfe, producer, festival director, bureaucrat and cultural industry shape-shifter has been awarded the Facilitator's Prize ($20,000).

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Maestro Michael Krajewski present Bond and Beyond: 50 Years of 007, a celebration of the world's favorite secret agent on Thursday, April 11 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, and Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The program features soloist Debbie Gravitte and includes musical selections from five decades of Bond films, such as Casino Royale, Goldfinger, From Russia with Love and Skyfall. According to The New York Times, singer and pianist Ben Folds is set to participate in The Exchange and 24 Hour Company's 'The 24-Hour Musicals' 2013 edition. Folds will write a 15-minute musical, which will be cast, rehearsed and performed in just one day, beginning April 28 and continuing through April 29 at the Gramercy Theater in NYC.

Modern folk icon Jonatha Brooke's ambitious album and theater project, *My Mother Has Four Noses*, exceeded its entire campaign target in its first week. It documents the poignant and, at times, humorous journey of Jonatha living with her mother who is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's-induced dementia. It's been an overwhelming response to a highly ambitious creative undertaking. In return for supporting the album and workshops of the play, fans receive such personal and intimate memorabilia as a handwritten lyric sheet, specialty T-shirts and powerful real time connections like attending a rehearsal, enjoying a living room concert, or getting a music and guitar lesson from Jonatha.

Acting Up Stage presents TAPESTRIES this Monday, a unique concert featurin the music of Carole King and James Taylor as arranged by Reza Jacobs. These concerts take place once a year and feature some of Canada's best and brightest musical theatre talent paying tribute to some of the most well-known and loved music of the past century. This year's show features Cynthia Dale, Josh Young, Jake Epstein, Arlene Duncan, Sterling Jarvis and more.
