The Town Hall has just announced the 12th Season of their acclaimed BROADWAY BY THE YEAR® concert series which kicks off with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1946 on Monday, February 13, 2012. The show is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Initial casting includes Alice Ripley, the Tony® Award winning star of Next to Normal, Tom Wopat (Tony® Award nominated for his role of Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun revival/Catch Me if You Can), Kerry O'Malley (On a Clear Day…Annie Get Your Gun revival) and Noah Racey (Curtains), who will also choreograph. The evening will feature songs and dance from Irving Berlin's classic Annie Get Your Gun and other musicals including Call Me Mister, St. Louis Woman and Park Avenue. Ross Patterson is the musical director.

It's official, Wililam Shatner's SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT will play from February 14 - March 4 at the Music Box Theater on Broadway, before embarking on a national tour. A statement from the producers said: 'The two-hour show will take audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur.'

Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that William Shatner is headed to Broadway in early 2012 with a 2-3 week engagement of SHATNER'S WORD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT which will play for 2-3 weeks at the Music Box Theater on Broadway. The show will be a temporary booking at the theatre, which is currently home to PRIVATE LIVES, which just moved up its closing to December 31.

NBC has announced that its hit a capella singing competition, THE SING-OFF, is expanding its season with an additional holiday themed live episode, "A Sing-Off Christmas," on Monday, December 5 (8-10 p.m. ET) featuring groups from all three seasons including season two winners Committed, season one winners Nota, The Backbeats, Beelzebubs, On the Rocks, Street Corner Symphony and many of the top ten groups from season three.

Last night, NBC's popular all-vocal singing competition series, THE SING-OFF crowned Pentatonix the winner of season three. Pentatonix hit all the right notes to become America's favorite all vocal band taking home the Sony Music recording contract and $200,000 cash prize.

On last night's finale of NBC's singing competition THE SING-OFF, Pentatonix was crowned the winners, beating out runners-up Dartmouth Aires and third place finishers Urban Method. The a cappella group was awarded $200,000 and a Sony recording contract prize.

On last night's episode of NBC's THE SING-OFF, Afro-Blue became the most recent group to be eliminated from the competition. On the show, the a cappella singing groups were challenged to sing a mash up of two songs which were related lyrically, as well as a song chosen by the judges.

On last night's episode of THE SING-OFF on NBC, the remaining five groups performed one contemporary and one classic R & B song. Vocal Point chose to sing Bobby Brown's 'Every Little Step' for their first number and the Temptations, 'Ain't Too Proud to Beg' for their second performance. Despite positive feedback from the judges, the group was the latest contender to be eliminated from the singing competition.

On last night's episode of THE SING-OFF on NBC, the singing group Delilah was eliminated from the competition. The all-female group found themselves in the bottom two along with contestants 'Afro-Blue'. On last night's show, the remaining groups were challenged to sing one rock song and one country number. Delilah chose to perform Aerosmith's 'Dream On' for their rock song and The Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' for their country selection.
