BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL opens triumphantly in Louisville.

BroadwayCon has announced that Ben Cameron, Veanne Cox, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Kyle Scatliffe, and Leigh Silverman have joined the Special Guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2018.

BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, playing at The Aronoff Center for the Arts in Cincinnati through May 14th, is as well-constructed and entertaining as any of Ms. King's many hit tunes.  And if Tuesday night's audience is any indication, it appeals to super-fans, casual-fans and to men and women of all generations.

BroadwayCon has announced that Laura Benanti, Heidi Blickenstaff, Stephanie J. Block, Jenn Colella, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Raymond J. Lee, Laura Osnes, and Bryce Pinkham have joined the Special Guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2018.

vCalling all Broadway-obssessed, showtune-belting, cosplaying theatergoers! Mischief Management has announced that the Third Annual BroadwayCon will return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Newsies forever, second to none! Disney Theatrical Productions, along with former Newsies cast members Jack Sippel, Tommy Bracco, Iain Young, and Jordan Samuels, have just announced that the live Fathom production of Newsies will be released digitally on May 23 in a special video below!

On this day in 2012, the cult hit film turned stage musical phenomenon, Newsies, based opened on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre. 

BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL is a jukebox musical that tells the story of the early life and career of Carole King with a book by Douglas McGrath, using songs that she wrote, often together with Gerry Goffin, and other contemporary songs by Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Phil Spector and others. The original production received its world premiere in San Francisco in October of 2013, and made its Broadway debut at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in January 2014. This U.S. touring production now at Bass Concert Hall launched in September 2015.

'Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical!' three-day cinema event broke ticketing records to become the highest-grossing Broadway event to date from Fathom Events. An estimated 210,250 people saw the event on big screens across the U.S. on February 16, 18 and 22, amounting to $3.47 million in ticket sales. It also now ranks as the No. 2 top-performing title for Fathom Events to-date.

Christopher Gattelli, the Tony-winning choreographer, is practically jumping with joy over the success of ''Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical!'' and its giant leap to the big screen. Its three-day screenings (Feb. 16, 18 and 22) broke records to become the highest-grossing Broadway event from Fathom Events. And now ''Disney's Newsies'' will return for an encore showing on Saturday, March 4, at 12:55 p.m.
