Having never seen the five-time Tony Award winning PETER AND THE STARCATCHER prior to the preview at Omaha's Rose Theater last night, I did not know what to expect. Local celebrities, community leaders and performing arts professionals will present awards in several categories.

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, hosted its 41st Annual Annie Awards, recognizing the year's best in the field of animation, last night, February 1, 2014. The Annie Awards cover 30 categories and include Best Animated Feature, Best Animated Special Production, Commercials, Short and Outstanding Individual Achievements.

Nominations for the 41st Annie Awards have been announced. Topping the list with 10 nominations each are Disney's Frozen and Monster's University.

Theatre503's Artistic Director Paul Robinson has announced the cast for the venue's first Second Look production, Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. Gregory Finnegan (Deceit at the Arcola and The Rat Trap at the Finborough) will play small-time crook Willie Dobie, Cameron Jack (South Pacific, Barbican) will play Arbogast and Ben Adams (Men Should Weep, National Theatre) will play Sneddon. The Life of Stuff runs at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May.

They share the dreams and desires, hopes and disappointments, victories and defeats that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.
