'Don't touch that dial!' The Golden Age of Chicago radio drama returns. Oak Park Festival Theatre transports the Dining Room of the Nineteenth Century Club at 178 North Forest, Oak Park, Illinois, back in time to the 1940's for two performances: Friday, September 20 and Sunday, September 22.
The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF)'s fourteenth season will include a slate of full-length plays and musicals, as well as Short Subjects. The board of directors of Midwest's oldest professional theatre devoted to outdoor productions of the classics will now be lead by Oak Park resident Kevin Theis. Theis directed last summer's popular and critical smash hit Cyrano de Bergerac which shattered box office records.
