In celebration of its fourth season, Sanguine Theatre Company will produce EXIT 27, a new work by award-winning playwright, Aleks Merilo and directed by Mark Karafin. Based on a true story, EXIT 27 combines the themes of rejection, survival, and redemption in exploration of the human experience. As the overwhelming winner of Sanguine's highly competitive playwriting competition, EXIT 27 brings a stirring perspective of raw human nature in its NYC premiere.

Women's Project Theater, the 36-year-old non-profit company dedicated to producing plays written and directed by women, is seeking a few good women for its 2014-2016 Lab of playwrights, directors and producers, underwritten with a generous grant from the Time Warner Foundation. The application deadline is November 4.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Dinner with Friends by Pulitzer Prize winnerDonald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon will open on February 13, 2014. The cast will include Jeremy Shamos as 'Gabe,' Darren Pettie as 'Tom', Marin Hinkle as 'Karen,' and Maria Dizzia as 'Beth.'

This special benefit performance will include an introduction by the Nomi community, a talk back with the cast and creative team of Byuioo, and a wine reception.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Underground production of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many, a new play by Meghan Kennedy, begins previews tomorrow Friday, October 25th at 7:00PM.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a special talkback at Bad Jews featuring NYC faith leaders, playwright Joshua Harmon and actor Michael Zegen following the 7:30pm performance tonight, October 24. The talkback is complimentary for ticketholders to this performance, and a limited number of tickets are still available to purchase.

Due to demand, BAD JEWS, the best comedy of the season has extended a second time! Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joshua Harmon's play BAD JEWS opened to widespread critical acclaim off-Broadway and the limited engagement will play an extra week through Sunday, December 29, 2013.

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced the cast and creative team for the workshop production of Nibbler, a play by Ken Urban, directed by Stephen Brackett. Nibblerwill begin invited presentations on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios (244 W. 54th St - between Broadway & 8th Ave.) and is scheduled to run through November 23rd, 2013. The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this play and talkbacks will follow several performances to discuss the work.

Also, contrary to published reports, Nathan Lane is not currently attached to the workshop. We have confirmed that featured amongst the cast are Bobby Steggert, Michael Urie, and Alan Cumming. The New York Times is now reporting that Tony-winning director John Tiffany is directing and 2008 Tony nominee Daniel Evans is playing 'Bobby', who will be gay in this version of the show.
