Grease is the word! The landmark, live television production of the beloved musical Grease makes its home entertainment debut with GREASE LIVE! now available on Digital HD and coming to DVD March 8, 2016 from Paramount Home Media Distribution.

Like greased lightning! CTV's very big January concluded last night with 1.7 million viewers for GREASE: LIVE preliminary overnight data from Numeris reveals, making it the #1 entertainment program Sunday with total viewers and all key demos. The special peaked with 2.37 million viewers, tuning in to Sandy and Danny's dance solo during 'Born To Hand Jive'.

Leave it to the network that reinvented television with AMERICAN IDOL and created SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, one of the most artistically significant shows in recent memory, to figure out the proper balance in merging musical theatre and live television. FOX's GREASE: LIVE learned from three years of live, middling musicals on NBC (the satisfying WIZ LIVE! notwithstanding) and produced the best, most thrilling live TV musical in half a century.

Following in the footsteps of NBC's THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!, PETER PAN LIVE!, and THE WIZ LIVE!, Marc Platt and Thomas Kail have filled their cast with stars of both stage and screen. BroadwayWorld learned tonight at GREASE: LIVE's TCA panel that IF/THEN, NEXT TO NORMAL and FREAKY FRIDAY songwriters Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey have written a new tune for 'Frenchy', played by Carly Rae Jepsen in FOX's upcoming live production.

As theatres across Ventura County begin a new year of musical shows, Panic! Productions will be celebrating those many countywide offerings with Coming Distractions on January 23 at the Newbury Park High School Performing Arts Center. A fund-raiser to benefit both Panic! and the high school's theatre department, the show will feature medleys of favorite songs and dance numbers from the wide range of musicals that will be mounted in the community during 2016.

PEOPLE reports exclusively that the final three actors for FOX's upcoming GREASE: LIVE have been cast. The trio will portray the T-Birds and Pink Ladies in the upcoming FOX musical broadcast.

After a sold-out initial run in Thousand Oaks, Panic! Productions is bringing its hit production of Jason Robert Brown's musical "13" to the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood for two performances, May 8 and 9. The high-energy show, with a cast of 19 teens, features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, with a book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn. The production is directed by Broadway and Hollywood veteran Barry Pearl, with choreography by Keenon Hooks and musical direction by Diann Alexander.

An all-teen cast highlights Panic! Productions' staging of Jason Robert Brown's '13,' now playing through April 19 at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks.
