A Broadway star, two television legends and a guitar virtuoso have joined the entertainment lineup for the Encore Celebration Gala Weekend presented by Krieg DeVault. The June 28-29 benefit for the Center for the Performing Arts also serves as the setting for the second annual Great American Songbook Hall of Fame induction. Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Rita Moreno and Jimmy Webb represent the 2013 class of the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame.

THE SONG OF EDDIE KING, a modern day Oedipus, will be presented as a reading by FRIENDS ALWAYS CREATING (FACT) THEATRE as part of a benefit evening being held tonight, May 20th at 7:00PM at Roy Arias Theatre, 300 West 43rd Street. The evening will consist of an hour long reading of the new play, an auction and raffle and wine and a talk back with the author of the play, Jamesai Schempp.

Bergen Performing Arts Center will celebrate the 8th Annual Gala with musical icon Barry Manilow. Chairman, Edmondo Schwartz said, "We are honored and excited that Barry Manilow will be performing at our gala this year. Support for 2013 Gala is invaluable, as funds raised will benefit the planned renovations of the newly acquired home of The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC at 1 Depot Square." The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC will now reside in a new building, with classes offered in theater, music, and dance. The Stand Up for a Cure 2013 Concert Series previously announced that comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld will be joined by guests Colin Quinn and celebrated TV anchor Rosanna Scotto - co-host of FOX 5's Good Day New York - to kick off the new season with a show at The Theater at Madison Square Garden tonight, April 17th. The show will partner with The American Diabetes Association to benefit research into juvenile diabetes.

Lee Mead (Wicked, Legally Blonde, BBC Series Winner of Any Dream Will Do) will be joined by special guest star Kerry Ellis for selected performances (Wicked, Oliver, We Will Rock You, Born Free Tour with Brian May) in The West End Men, running at the Vaudeville Theatre from 25 May until 22 June, with press night on 3 June 2013. The West End Men is directed by the award winning Mitch Sebastian (The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas) and produced by Milton Morrissey Ltd, Jason Haigh Ellery and in association with Paul Tyrer & Jamie Clark for The Booking Office. Further casting will be announced shortly.
