INK will open tonight, April 24 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Following the Almeida's sell-out run in 2017-2018, the highly successful West End transfer running at the Ambassadors Theatre must end with the season finale on Saturday 1 June 2019. Craft Recordings is pleased to announce the vinyl reissue ofR.E.M.'s platinum-selling collection, In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003. Available for thefirst time on vinyl in over 15 years, the album includes 18 songs from the Athens, GA alt-rockers, spanning 1988's Green to 2001's Reveal, plus two previously unreleased tracks. The double-LP set—which makes its debut on audiophile-quality, 180-gram vinyl on June 14th—is housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket. In addition to the wide reissue of In Time, a special version—pressed on translucent blue vinyl—will be available exclusively at Barnes & Noble.

Roundabout's KISS ME, KATE Revival Will Get a Cast Recording

Ghostlight Records has announced it will record a new cast album of Cole Porter's musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate, based on the current hit production from the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO). The show is directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with music direction by Paul Gemignani and features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. Kiss Me, Kate marks the 24th cast album recording for Roundabout Theatre Company, since launching the musical theatre program with She Loves Me in 1993. The album, produced by Kurt Deutsch and Lawrence Manchester, will be recorded Monday, April 22.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces casting for the second production of the 2019 Nutmeg Summer Series: "Cabaret," the Tony-Award-winning musical centering around a German nightclub against the backdrop of the Nazis' rise to power.  The cast will be led by Olivier Award-winner Laura Michelle Kelly (Broadway's "Mary Poppins," "Finding Neverland") as Sally Bowles and Tony Award-nominee Forrest McClendon ("The Scottsboro Boys") as the Emcee.
