Original Theatre Company has announced Miss Marple’s return to the stage in a brand new production of Rachel Wagstaff’s acclaimed adaptation of Agatha Christie’s THE MIRROR CRACK’D. The production, directed by Philip Franks, will begin its UK Tour at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne on 8 September 2022.

March and April 2022 at the Center for the Arts at George Mason University continues its season with exciting in-person programming for the 2021/2022 Great Performances at Mason with three engagements from Mason Artists-in-Residence, including the artists from SW!NG OUT, Camille A. Brown & Dancers, and Maria Schneider, plus signature events from Mason's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

The Sierra Madre Playhouse will present INDEPENDENCE: The True Story of Dr. Mary Walker. A show about the woman who was a battlefield surgeon, a prisoner of war, an abolitionist, a suffragist, and the only female recipient of the Congessional Medal of honor.

Full casting has been announced for the return of critically acclaimed musical THE WICKER HUSBAND.

Kelli Foster Warder directs the Tony-award-winning musical of legendary self-proclaimed jazz inventor Jelly Roll Morton. The area premiere production opens at the intimate Ritz Theater, April 2.

Manhattan Theatre Club announced the lineup for the 2022 Ted Snowdon Reading Series. The readings kick off Monday, March 14 and will be held on Mondays through March 28. The readings will take place at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55th Street). All readings are free and open to the public, but space is limited and RSVPs are required.

The Royal Opera will present Lost and Found: a series of brand-new, train-themed, micro-operas created by women composer and librettist teams. On Tuesday 8 March 2022, between 11am and 4pm, St. Pancras International will become a stage for the day, giving commuters the chance to enjoy stories and songs based on submissions from the public. 

On March 10, 2022 New York City’s Obie Award-winning The Fire This Time Festival will release an anthology entitled 25 Plays from The Fire This Time Festival: A Decade of Recognition, Resistance, Resilience, Rebirth and Black Theatre.

Rehearsal images for the critically acclaimed production of Small Island are released today. Adapted by Helen Edmundson from Andrea Levy’s prize-winning novel and directed by Rufus Norris, the production will open on 24 February in the Olivier theatre.  

Wharton Center has announced the First National Tour of MEAN GIRLS will be coming to East Lansing from Tuesday, March 1 to Sunday, March 6, 2022, as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Season.

The North American tour cast features Khaila Wilcoxon as Catherine of Aragon, Storm Lever as Anne Boleyn, Jasmine Forsberg as Jane Seymour, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves, Didi Romero as Katherine Howard, and Gabriela Carrillo as Catherine Parr.

 The Lark, founded as an international play development laboratory dedicated to amplifying the voices of playwrights, which earlier this year announced its closing, has announced the re-homing of its current Fellowships and key Core Artistic Programs.

Richard Gallion Entertainment is set for an upcoming production titled 1800’s Vs 2020, written by playwright, actor, and producer Richard Gallion. The production starts out at The APC Theater in Chicago, IL from February 12 through February 27th in celebration of Black History Month with hopes to potentially add more dates and/or tour the show in the future. 

WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY is a fast-break series about the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties — a team that defined an era, both on and off the court. The series features John C. Reilly, Quincy Isaiah, Tracye Letts, Rob Morgan, Sally Field, and more.

BESPOKE PLAYS - a bicoastal new play development series - announces recent Star Trek Franchise actors ISA BRIONES (Hamilton, Next to Normal), BLU DEL BARRIO, and MARY CHIEFFO to join Justin Lawrence Barnes, Kari Coleman, Madi Goff, and VonDexter Montegut II in the first staged readings of LADY FACE by MADI GOFF, directed by ELLIE PYLE, and stage managed by ERIN MACDONALD (science consultant: Star Trek).

Delaware Theatre Company will present the world premiere of OTHER WORLD, a new musical. Featuring a book by Hunter Bell, music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen and Ann McNamee and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, OTHER WORLD will begin performances on Wednesday February 23 for a run through Sunday March 20.

Disney Theatrical announced today that a newly-imagined North American tour of Aladdin is scheduled to launch in October 2022, allowing the hit Broadway musical to entertain new audiences in cities and venues which couldn’t accommodate the previous tour. Get the scoop here!

In response, ETT and Headlong came together to imagine a project that would celebrate the extraordinary diversity of the national touring network: an ‘open source’ idea for performances and storytelling that could happen around a campfire, to inspire theatre companies across the UK.
