Book Tickets Now For HOME, I'M DARLING in the West End

Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre, Laura Wade's new play transfers to the West End for 11 weeks only. Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd, Humans) reprises her acclaimed role as Judy, in Wade's fizzing comedy about one woman's quest to be the perfect 1950s housewife. Book tickets here!

BWW Review: HOME, I'M DARLING, National Theatre

The first thing we see is Anna Fleischle's Fifties-tastic giant doll's-house set: each period-perfect room bathed in a different twinkling hue, flowers painted onto the brick wall, and jaunty music setting the tone. But Katherine Parkinson's Judy is able to open the front wall like a folding door - clearly establishing that this life, and this contentment, is just a facade.

BWW Review: PRISM, Hampstead Theatre

Jack Cardiff, OBE was a British cinematographer, director and photographer. His career lasted through many decades, spanning from the development of cinema, to silent film, and through to the experimentation of using Technicolor. His best-known work is his influential colour cinematography used by directors such as John Huston and Alfred Hitchcock. Cardiff's life is reviewed in Prism, playing at the Hampstead Theatre.

BURIED CHILD to Extend West End Run to March 2017

The New Group's production of Sam Shepard's Pulitzer & Obie prize-winning play, Buried Child, directed by Scott Elliott, and starring the multi award-winning, international star Ed Harris (whose credits include the first hit series of Westworld as the mysterious Man in Black, Pollock, The Hours and The Truman Show), is now extending its critically acclaimed West End run at Trafalgar Studios until Saturday 4 March 2017.

BWW Review: BURIED CHILD, Trafalgar Studios, 1 December 2016

This revival of Sam Shepard's apocalyptic 1978 play has gained resonance since 2016's most apocalyptic political development - namely, Donald Trump cynically harnessing Midwestern anger and disillusionment. The latter is on display in heightened, American Gothic form in this Pulitzer Prize-winning piece, teeming with tragic mysteries, family skeletons and a (literally) buried past.
