The Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts (SBCPA) has announced America's biggest selling instrumental artist, Chris Botti, will perform at The Granada Theatre today, September 10, 2016 at 8:00 pm, as part of the 2016 - 2017 Granada Theatre Concert Series.

Spamilton, a sneak peek into Forbidden Broadway creator, Gerard Alessandrini's ongoing obsession with Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, much like its source material, has taken off-Broadway by storm. The musical, which promises an evening that celebrates, roasts and eviscerates the Broadway blockbuster, celebrates its official opening night tonight.

The evening belonged to Hillary and Streisand. Streisand's set started out with 'Everything' from her 1970 film A STAR IS BORN, 'Being at War With Each other' by Carole King, 'Losing My Mind' by Stephen Sondheim from her new ENCORE album and 'Pure Imagination' addressing the environment (also from ENCORE). Then the place went wild when she performed Stephen Sondheim's 'Send in the Clowns' with re-written lyrics skewering Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump. The audience went wild and Barbra received 9 standing ovations!

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the U.S. National Tour of ANNIE go on sale to the public Friday, September 9.

The latest production of the classic THE FANTASTICKS arrived at The Pasadena Playhouse September 6, 2016, directed by Seema Sueko. With the book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt, THE FANTASTICKS was awarded the Tony Honor for Excellence in Theatre in 1991, in its 33rd year of its 42-year Off-Broadway run (17,162 performances!).
