BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that actress Barbara Leigh-Hunt has passed away at the age of 88. Leigh-Hunt had a career across the screen and stage, but is perhaps best known for her role as a murder victim in Alfred Hitchcock's 1972 film Frenzy.

On October 23, 2013 Renaissance Theaterworks (RTW), in collaboration with Milwaukee Public Theatre (MPT), will honor Disability Awareness month with an event that promises to be a new avenue for disability awareness. "This will be an evening of humor and inspiration as we challenge the stereotypes of disability and celebrate artists with disabilities" shares Julie Swenson, RTW's Producing Director. Making A Scene - A Celebration of the Senses features excerpts from Barbara Leigh's Survival Revival Revue; several monologues by Chastity Washington, stand-up comedienne from NAMI; stories by Ruth Silver from her book Invisible: My Journey Through Vision and Hearing Loss; and a surprise performance by girls and women from Vision Forward.

Produced by Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones for Front Row Productions, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof will run at the Novello Theatre from 21 November to 10 April 2010, with press night on 1 December.
