The Cotuit Center for the Arts will hold open auditions for Dark of the Moon, to run October 7-24, 2010. Dark of the Moon is a drama with music set in the Blue Ridge Mountains, based on a variant of 'The Ballad of Barbara Allen', with witches, conjurers, and God-fearing folk. Director Mary Arnault will be casting roles for all ages. Singers, dancers and musicians encouraged. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 14th from 2-4 PM and Sunday, August 15th from 2-4 PM. The Culture Project, Maria del Puy Navarro Amador, in collaboration with Amnesty International USA, and in association with Francisco Reyes, will present a special engagement of a pro-human rights theatrical event based on the classic Spanish play Life Is A Dream (La Vida es Sueño) by Calderón de la Barca with bilingual adaptation by Navarro Amador.
