Crack the Mystery When 'Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery Opens at MVT

A musical sneak peek at the new season of Disjointed, coming January 12 to Netflix.

Performance Space 122, the birthplace of contemporary performance as it is known today, returns to its legendary home in the East Village, under the leadership of new Executive Artistic Director Jenny Schlenzka, after nearly six years presenting new works in partnership with venues across New York City. The institution will welcome the public to its newly renovated, column-free facilities at 150 1st Avenue - custom-designed by Deborah Berke Partners for interdisciplinary performance - with its 2018 Coil Festival (January 10 February 4, 2018).

Experience Theatre Project, Beaverton's resident professional theatre company, proudly presents a fully immersive production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap at the Cady Building in historic downtown Beaverton, located at 12604 SW Farmington Road. The play opens February 16 and runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2pm, until March 11. Tickets $30-$52 available January 15 for purchase at ETP's website at www.experiencetheatreproject.org. Due to the intimate nature of this immersive show, only 35 tickets will be available per show. Presenters have been announced for the 28th Annual LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards on Monday, January 29, at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Red carpet arrivals will begin at 6pm and the ceremony, hosted by Kirsten Vangsness, is set to begin at 7:30pm.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15), the River Street Theatre (RST) in Jaffrey will present the documentary film Rosenwald, the surprising story of a philanthropic retailer who changed the course of education for African Americans in the rural south. Rosenwald will be shown at the RST on Sunday, January 14 at 2pm and 7pm.

On Monday, January 8, Theater People podcast welcome's back Broadway favorite Telly Leung. For the episode, Leung discusses recently winning the title role in Disney's ALADDIN on Broadway. He also shares stories from his recent work on IN TRANSIT and ALLEGIANCE.
