TINA, a new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner, is pleased to confirm that 140,000 new tickets will go on sale today (Wednesday 18 April 2018) at 12noon BST. The production which officially opened at the Aldwych Theatre last night, is now booking to 16 February 2019.

Stage Entertainment has confirmed that due to exceptional public demand over 100,000 new tickets will go on sale today (Friday 26 January 2018) at 12noon GMT for TINA, a new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner. Officially opening at the Aldwych Theatre on 17 April 2018, with previews beginning on 21 March 2018, the show is now booking to 20 October 2018.
The West End production of TINA will hold open auditions on Saturday 13 January 2018 for the opportunity to portray Anna Mae, the 11 year-old Tina Turner, with the adult cast of the musical. The company are looking for black and mixed race girls between the ages of 9 12 years old, under 4' 10 with good acting skills and a fantastic singing voice.
Joining the previously announced Adrienne Warren, who plays the title role, are Kobna Holdbrook-Smith as Ike Turner, Madeline Appiah as Tina's mother Zelma Bullock, Jenny Fitzpatrick as the alternate Tina, Lorna Gayle as Tina's Grandmother GG, Tom Godwin as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten, Francesca Jackson as Ike and Tina's manager Rhonda Graam, Aisha Jawando as Tina's sister Alline Bullock, Natey Jones as Tina's father Richard Bullock and Tina's first love Raymond Hill, Gerard McCarthy as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach and Ryan O'Donnell as Tina's Manager Roger Davies. They are joined by ensemble members Tsemaye Bob-Egbe, Keisher Downie, Kit Esuruoso who also plays Tina's son Craig Hill, Jammy Kasongo, Sia Kiwa, Jason Langley, Kayleigh McKnight, Baker Mukasa and Tanisha Spring and swings Derek Aidoo, Gavin Alex, Edward Bourne, Candace Furbert, Hannah Jay-Allan and Rodney Vubya.
Fuel in association with Stratford Circus Arts Centre presents Gyre & Gimble's The Hartlepool Monkey. The legend of a monkey who was hanged as a French spy is brought to life through clever puppetry in a timely tale exploring xenophobia, written by Carl Grose and created by Carl Grose, Finn Caldwell and Toby Oli . Nineteen gifted students from drama schools across the UK were today awarded almost £73,000 worth of bursaries by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) in order to help them complete their training. The Clothworkers' Foundation bursary is worth a total of £37,500 over five years with £7,500 awarded to a student annually as part of the Laurence Olivier Bursaries scheme.
