On Wednesday, April 13 (10:00am to 3:00pm), Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will host the Brooklyn Job Fair at Long Island University's Arnold and Marie Schwartz Athletic Center at 1 University Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn. The event is free and open to the public. Nearly 80 employers will be on hand to offer hundreds of available jobs.

BP Markowitz announced in June that Borough Hall would be illuminated in the colors of Mother Teresa's religious order after the owners of the Empire State Building stated a similar honor would not take place at New York City's tallest building.
