In the leading city for medical research, there's a huge demand for bodies and inconveniently people aren't dying in enough numbers to meet the need. The profitable solution? Murder, of course. As the infamous pair flourish in their new careers, the more they murder, the less they care. But for how long will they get away with it? How long will they go on making a killing?

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Founding Artistic Director Steven Maler, announced the cast of the first production of its 2018-19 Season: Universe Rushing Apart: Blue Kettle & Here We Go, two one-act plays by Caryl Churchill, directed by Bryn Boice. The Sacred Fools Theater Company is kicking off its 22nd Season with Burglars of Hamm for a remount of the award-winning Resa Fantastiskt Mystisk. Resa was recently produced at this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival where it took home Top of the Fringe honors. The first Mainstage show of the Sacred Fools season, Resa opens Friday, October 5 and runs through Saturday, November 3 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents the West Coast premiere of Old Clown Wanted by Romanian-French playwright Matei Visniec in a new translation from the French by Jeremy Lawrence. Romanian-born Florinel Fatulescu directs for a Sept. 22 opening, with performances continuing through Nov. 4 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A.

Renowned stand up comedian and actor Paul Rodriguez stars in a revival of Steambath, the 1970 off Broadway hit comedy by Bruce Jay Friedman that also became a PBS television special.
