Following five sold out weeks of shows, The Laurie Beechman Theatre will continue their hit series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED for one performance only, Friday, August 27th at 7pm. Joining the cast is special guest, Len Cariou, who originated the roles of Fredrik in A Little Night Music and Sweeney in Sweeney Todd. Also joining the cast are Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures), Nikki Scalera (Hairspray), Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie), Julia Murney (Wicked), Anne Runolfsson (The Phantom of the Opera, Victor/Victoria) and Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys & Dolls).

John Hoglund and Sue Matsuki will present Calling All Angels 2 with two special cabaret concerts on Fridays, August 13 and 20 both at 7:00 pm at Metropolitan Room At Gotham. These extraordinary evenings are emergency benefits for cabaret's own Gregory Kennell and offer some of today's most acclaimed and outstanding artists from cabaret and theater. Hosted by John and Sue, the lineup at press time includes:

Accidental Repertory Theater is currently presenting, as its first public production, the international classic 'BRECHT ON BRECHT,' adapted and translated by George Tabori, and directed by the company's Artistic Director John Strasberg.

John Strasberg, founder and Artistic Director of the Accidental Repertory Theater, has announced that the company will present as its first public production, the international classic 'BRECHT ON BRECHT,' adapted and translated by George Tabori, and directed by Mr. Strasberg. Ross Patterson will serve as Musical Director for the production. Performances of 'BRECHT ON BRECHT' will begin on Thursday, October 29, and the official opening night will be Sunday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Accidental Repertory Theater is located at 555 Eighth Avenue, Suite 403 (between 37th and 38th Streets). The run will continue for four weeks through Saturday, November 21.
