Atlantic Theater Company announced today that the sold-out US premiere production of The Mother has added a benefit performance on Sunday, April 7th at 6PM.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today special events and programming for the month of April as part of The Sean O'Casey Season, celebrating 30 years of Irish Repertory Theatre.

Horizon Theatre Company is continuing its 35th Anniversary Season with production from the recipient of the MacArthur Foundation 'Genius Grant' for 2018 - Dominique Morisseau! PIPELINE, a groundbreaking new play, will hit the Little Five Points stage from March 22 - April 21, 2019. PIPELINE is hailed by Village Voice as "A POWERFUL, PASSIONATE, AND INTELLIGENT NEW PLAY."

The Mother by Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton, and directed by Trip Cullman, opened just last night, March 11, at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). The production is a limited run through April 13, 2019.

It was three seasons ago that French playwright Florian Zeller's Moliere Award winning THE FATHER came to Broadway from London in an English translation by Christopher Hampton. Frank Langella earn a Tony playing an aging dementia-stricken man whose faltering memory causes his perceptions of his past and present to change in every scene.

Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced the cast for the Seattle premiere of Feathers and Teeth, the twisted horror comedy by Charise Castro Smith that grapples with the power of grief and the dangers of the other side. WET members Rachel Guyer-Mafune (WET: Teh Internet Is Serious Business, ACT: The Wolves, Book-It: Howl's Moving Castle) and Samie Spring Detzer (WET: Teh Internet Is Serious Business, Revolt. She said. Revolt again.) return to the WET stage to star as the creepy cool daughter/stepmother duo, Chris and Carol. Brandon J. Simmons (WET: Sextet, The Seagull Project: The Cherry Orchard, The Three Sisters) joins the cast as Arthur and James Schilling (ArtsWest: Peter and the Starcatcher, The Horse in Motion: The Great Noise) makes his WET debut as Hugo. WET's Associate Artistic Director Bobbin Ramsey directs. This is the second play by Castro Smith to be produced by WET; the world premiere of The Hunchback of Seville was the company's final play produced at The Little Theater on 19th Avenue East before moving to its current home, 12th Avenue Arts

Lincoln Center Theater will produce the American premiere of THE ROLLING STONE, a new play by Chris Urch, directed by Saheem Ali, beginning previews Thursday, June 20 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Performances begin tomorrow, Tuesday February 26th, for the New York premiere of  Surely Goodness and Mercy, a truly Keen story about an exceptional boy living a troubled life in Newark, NJ who does a good deed for an often unnoticed person.   Sarita Covington, Jay Mazyck, Brenda Pressley, Courtney Thomas, and Cezar Williams star under Jessi D. Hill's direction.

The French Institute Alliance Française celebrates the career of Isabelle Huppertpresenting a special evening with the iconic French actress and a CinéSalon series devoted to her on-screen work from March 5 to April 23. Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce that Little Known Facts at Atlantic, a live podcast hosted by Ilana Levine, will be returning as a full series this spring. Little Known Facts at Atlantic was originally presented as a one night only event featuring Atlantic Ensemble member Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson. Following the first event's success, three additional live podcasts have been announced.
