The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced winners for the 2015-2016 Atlanta professional theatrical season last night, November 7, 2016, at the 12th annual awards ceremony held at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2015-2016 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, September 12, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by the Alliance Theatre, at 6:30pm in The Circle Room, on the third floor, 1280 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia, 30309. 

With a bare stage decorated only with a stool- oh yeah, and 'the line'- just walking into the theatre began the immersion process into the world of 17 dancers auditioning to be in the chorus of a glitzy Broadway musical.

Meet 17 dancers in an empty theatre, on a bare stage, where casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. For these dancers, this audition is the chance of a lifetime. It's what they've worked for with every drop of sweat, every hour of training, every day of their lives. This is A Chorus Line, the musical for anyone who has ever had a dream and put it all on the line to make that dream come true. Winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, it's one of the longest-running American Broadway musicals ever. Castle Walk plays a one-week limited engagement at PTC Performance Space (555 West 42nd Street, NY, NY). Performances begin tonight, July 22nd and continue Sunday, July 28th.
