Co-founders John Stoops, Tim Evans, and Marc Grapey announce the inaugural season of Three Oaks Theater Festival, a new summer theater festival that will bring three limited-engagement runs of highly-acclaimed, professional Chicago-based productions and a World Premiere to audiences in Harbor Country, Michigan. Three Oaks Theater Festival is presented in association with Harbor Arts with special thanks to The Pokagon Fund.

Sideshow Theatre Company concludes its 2012/13 season with the world premiere of THE BURDEN OF NOT HAVING A TAIL, by Carrie Barrett, directed by ensemble member Megan A. Smith, playing tonight, June 29 - August 4, 2013 at Chicago Dramatists, 1105 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago. This darkly comical, one-woman tour-de-force features ensemble member Karie Miller in an interactive experience with the audience. Tickets are available at www.sideshowtheatre.org. The press performance is Tuesday, July 2 at 8 pm.

American Blues Theater to Present HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY, 8/30-10/6

Producing Artistic Director Gwendolyn Whiteside and American Blues Theater, Chicago's second oldest Equity ensemble, are proud to announce the first production in American Blues Theater's "Legends and Legacies" season, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, by Randal Myler and Mark Harelik, directed by Damon Kiely, music director Malcolm Ruhl and starring Matt Brumlow as "Hank Williams," August 30 - October 6, at the Greenhouse Theater Center's Downstage Mainstage Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. Tickets are $19 for previews, $29 Thursdays and Fridays and $39 Saturdays and Sundays and $49 for opening night. Previews are Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 p.m. Press/opening night is Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. There are post-show discussions following Sunday performances beginning September 8. Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co's critically acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams' classic THE GLASS MENAGERIE will add four additional weeks of performances, extending through July 28, 2013 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. The production will also play two additional weekly performances on Wednesdays at 8 pm and Saturdays at 3 pm. Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s Jeff Recommended hit production of THE GLASS MENAGERIE will add three additional weeks of performances - extending through February 17, 2013 at Angel Island Theatre, 735 W. Sheridan Rd. in Chicago. After selling out the regular run in 3 days, Mary-Arrchie has decided to add 3 more weeks of performances starting January 31st. There will be no performances January 24-27th.
