Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s THE GLASS MENAGERIE Extends Through 2/17

Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s Jeff Recommended hit production of THE GLASS MENAGERIE will add three additional weeks of performances - extending through February 17, 2013 at Angel Island Theatre, 735 W. Sheridan Rd. in Chicago. After selling out the regular run in 3 days, Mary-Arrchie has decided to add 3 more weeks of performances starting January 31st. There will be no performances January 24-27th.The new block of tickets will go on sale Tuesday, January 1 at 12 pm online at www.ticketweb.com.

The original memory play was the legendary playwright's first major success and is considered one of the great American plays of all time. Mary-Arrchie's version tells the story through the memories of a homeless man living on the streets of St. Louis, post-WWII. In his imagination, he relives the events that led to his ultimate demise. LA-based Jeff Award winning ensemble member Hans Fleischmann returns to Mary-Arrchie to direct this production, featuring an original score by Chicago musician Daniel Knox.
