Previews begin tonight, Tuesday April 10, at the Curran theatre (445 Geary Street) for Head Over Heels, the new musical comedy featuring the iconic songs of The Go-Go's- the most successful female rock band of all time.

Rehearsals began this week for Head Over Heels, the new musical comedy featuring the iconic songs of The Go-Go's - the most successful female rock band of all time. Prior to its Broadway bow,Head Over Heels will play a limited engagement at San Francisco's Curran theater from April 10, 2018 through May 6, 2018 (opening night is Wednesday, April 18).

As you know, February is Black History Month. We here at Broadway Sessions wanted to take a moment to reflect on the massive impact of African American legacy on Broadway and beyond. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Spring Awakening), Head Over Heels will perform at the Curran (445 Geary St., San Francisco) April 10-May 6, 2018 ahead of its Broadway premiere (opening July 26 at Hudson Theatre).

The Broadway Loves series makes its return to Feinstein's/54 Below on February 18th when over a dozen of Broadway's most distinctive voices will celebrate Grammy nominee and multi-platinum singer and songwriter Demi Lovato. The concerts will be musically directed and produced by Benjamin Rauhala.

La Jolla Playhouse presents the world-premiere production of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, featuring book by Colman Domingo, Robert Cary and Playhouse Director Emeritus Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys, The Who's Tommy); directed by Des McAnuff; choreographed by Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo (Memphis, Jersey Boys), with musical supervision by Ron Melrose.
