Cygnet Theatre Company, currently presenting August Wilson's The Piano Lesson, is proud to offer off-night encore performances of the San Diego Black Theatre Collective's On the Horizon staged-reading series, featuring new plays by writers of diversity. The readings include Trane, A Noble Journey, directed by Hassan El-Amin; Ain't You Heard, directed by Calvin Manson; and The Strangest Fruit, directed by Antonio TJ Johnson and will run Tuesday nights February 9th, 16th and 23rd at 7pm in Cygnet's Old Town Theatre.

FREE 'WORDSWORK' PLAY READING: Monday, May 25. SEE SHAKESPEARE'S SONNETS COME ALIVE. The evening of Shakespeare's sonnets will include presentations in various languages (Japanese, Spanish, and Italian) and some will be interpreted through dance (ballet and tango), and music in all its forms. The event will be emceed by Kathy Brombacher of Moonlight Stage Productions and Alex Sadie of San Diego Shakespeare Society.
