Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producers Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler recently announced details on the cast and creative team of "The Nerd," Larry Shue's outrageously funny comedy, which will run at Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) from June 23 through July 15.

Guerilla Opera presents Gallo: a fable in music in one act, a world premiere chamber opera with music and libretto by Rome-Prize winning composer Ken Ueno, and direction by Metropolitan Opera stage director Sarah Meyers. The world premiere chamber opera investigates how the landscape and man shape and transform each other. It also addresses the fundamental question of ontology, “the chicken or the egg,” and features a soprano in a Houdini box filled with Cheerios and a countertenor in a chicken suit. Gallo plays Thursday through Saturday, May 22-24 and 29-30, 2014 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m. with talk-backs on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24. The costume design process will be on display in The Art of Design, a Muhlenberg College gallery exhibit featuring six acclaimed costume designers.

For years, Muhlenberg College theater students have looked forward to working with Kevin Crawford, a professor at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. Now, Crawford brings his unique brand of physical theater to the Muhlenberg Mainstage with Ben Jonson's over-the-top comedy 'Bartholomew Fair.'

Directed by David Herskovits, the cast features Clare Barron as Marina, Don Castro as Telegin, Rebecca Hart as Helena, Susan Hyon as Sonya, Mary Neufeld as Serebryakov, Edward O'Blenis as Astrov, Greig Sargeant as Vanya, and Yuri Skujins as Mme. Voynitskaya (who replaces previously announced Steven Rattazzi).
