John Glover to Star in Bay Street Theater's THE TEMPEST Outdoor Readings, 8/16-17

Bay Street Theater has announced the launch of The Bay Street Shakespeare Initiative with the presentation of two outdoor staged readings of THE TEMPEST, starring Tony Award winner John Glover as Prospero, on August 16 and 17. This initiative is an ongoing program, which offers exciting performances and educational opportunities focusing on the work of William Shakespeare at Bay Street Theater.

Judy Kuhn, John Glover Star in LOVE, NOEL at Lovelace Studio Theater, 2/14-23

The Wallis has announced that Tony nominee Judy Kuhn (She Loves Me, Chess and Les Miserables) and Tony winner and five-time Emmy nominee John Glover (Love! Valour! Compassion!, 'Smallville') will star in Love, Noel: The Letters and Songs of Noel Coward, devised and written by Coward authority Barry Day, and directed by Jeanie Hackett, who over saw The Antaeus Theatre production of Noel Coward's Tonight at 8:30 and the three-year development of the Antaeus production of Coward's Peace in Our Time. The musical direction and piano accompaniment is by David O. Due to popular demand, additional performances have been added and Love, Noel will now be performed February 14 through 23 in the Lovelace Studio Theater.

LCT's Platform Series Continues with DOMESTICATED's Laurie Metcalf & Jeff Goldblum Tonight

Lincoln Center Theater's Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between Lincoln Center Theater artists and interested theatergoers, continues its 16th season tonight, December 19 at 6pm with JEFF GOLDBLUM and LAURIE METCALF the stars of LCT's current Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater production of DOMESTICATED, the new play by Bruce Norris, directed by Anna D. Shapiro. DOMESTICATED, which opened on Monday, November 4, is running through Sunday, January 5.

The Little Orchestra Society presents Music Under the Big Top, an evening of entertainment and musical acrobatics for audiences of all ages at Damrosch Park, Lincoln Center on December 10, 2013. ROY ROGERS is Coming to Broadway; New Musical Being Developed by Marshall Brickman

The Roy Rogers Family Entertainment Corporation, Happy Trails, LLC and the Spangler Group have announced that they will produce a new Broadway musical inspired by the life and music of the iconic Roy Rogers. Academy, Tony and Olivier Award-winning screenwriter and playwright Marshall Brickman (Jersey Boys, Annie Hall) is leading the creative team. The musical is aiming to begin previews in late 2014 for an early 2015 opening night.

Woody Allen to be Honored with Golden Globes' 2014 Cecil B. DeMille Award

The multi-hyphenated Woody Allen will be honored with the 2014 Cecil B. DeMille Award and will be paid tribute to at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 12, 2014, LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC with the pre-show from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (PST)/7:00-8:00 p.m. (EST), and main telecast from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST)/8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It was announced today by Theo Kingma, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
