The Wilma Theater's production of BECKY SHAW will close on February 7.

Important new works for the stage are regularly being produced all across Greater Philadelphia in significant numbers! Currently, at the Walnut Street Theatre, two new plays can be seen - one a timeless look at the corrupt politician (The Prince by Bill Van Horn and Armen Pandola), and the other about the seeds of change that brought our national politics to where it is today (The Eclectic Society by Eric Conger).

The Roundtable Ensemble (Kelly Ann Moore, Artistic Director and Joshua P. Weiss, Managing Director), now in its 11th season, will present a new adaptation of Nikolai Erdman's black comedy 'The Suicide' entitled 'GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD.'

After reviewing over 250 applications from across the country, PAGE 73, a non-profit theater company that develops and produces exclusively the work of early-career playwrights who have yet to receive substantial production opportunities in New York City, has announced that ELIZA CLARK is the 2010 P73 PLAYWRITING FELLOW.

In conjunction with the Philadelphia Premiere of Pulitzer Prize finalist 'Becky Shaw', The Wilma Theater will present an afternoon of conversation with playwright Gina Gionfriddo.  The talk with the Obie Award-winning American playwright and TV producer and writer of "Law & Order" will follow the Sunday, January 10, 2 p.m. matinee performance and will begin at 4:15 p.m.

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, will present the world premiere of WHAT ONCE WE FELT, a new play by Ann Marie Healy, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, as the first of three productions during the 2009-2010 season. WHAT ONCE WE FELT will be presented Monday, October 26 through Saturday, November 21 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street). The second and third LCT3 productions, to be announced, are scheduled for Spring 2010 and will also be presented at The Duke on 42nd Street.

The Civilians will premiere their latest work, You Better Sit Down: Tales From My Parents' Divorce on November 13 and 14 at 8:00 p.m. at Galapagos Art Space (16 Main Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn).
