The World Premiere of Michael McKeever's The Impressionists is
April 9, 2006 at Caldwell Theatre Company. The Impressionists is a
dramatic play about the origins of The Impressionist Movement. It is
infused with humanity, heartbreak and humor showing artists as people who overcame struggles and hardships to successfully pursue their dream of a new art form. In this World Premiere, multiple award-winning playwright Michael McKeever explores the relationships between the friends who made up an artist Salon in Paris in the 1860s.
For the first time starting with The Impressionists, Caldwell will
introduce a video projection system that will be incorporated into its
traditional stage design, adding a variety of elements that will enhance
the theatrical experience.
Directed by Michael Hall, featuring Tim Burke (Edgar Degas), Eric
Martin Brown (Edouard Manet,) Peter Haig (swing,) Terrell Hardcastle
(Claude Monet,) Deanna Henson (Berthe Morisot,) Kathryn Lee Johnston
(swing,) George Kapetan (Camille Pissarro,) and Bruce Linser
(Pierre-Auguste Renoir.)

The World Premiere of Michael McKeever's The Impressionists is
April 9, 2006 at Caldwell Theatre Company. The Impressionists is a
