ERIC WOOLFSON'S SOMEWHERE IN THE AUDIENCE is set for release 18th March 2013 on Limelight Records. The alumb will be released on the anniversary of what would have been the late Eric Woolfson's 68th birthday. 'Somewhere in the Audience' is a compilation of music from four of Eric's musicals 'GAUDI', 'GAMBLER', 'POE' and 'DANCING SHADOWS'.

It's a lovely feeling to rehearse a show that's set in London and all about Londoners here. It seems strange that the first performances in 1967/1968 were in Toronto, Boston and New York.

Somewhere In The Audience is a celebration of Gaudi, Gambler, Poe & Dancing Shadows; four of the late Eric Woolfson's musicals. This compilation is released on March 18th on what would have been his 68th birthday.

Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a kind-of new musical with a book by Eric Idle and an entirely new score for the new production, (well, almost) created by Eric Idle and John Du Prez. Following a staggering national romp, this new production moved to Playhouse Theatre, beginning performances 14 November and opening last night. View photos below!
Stephen Tompkinson Set to Debut in West End's SPAMALOT

According to reports, Stephen Tompkinson will make his West End musical debut in Monty Python musical Spamalot (playing King Arthur). The musical will transfer to the Playhouse Theatre beginning November 20, 2012, with previews starting November 14.

Opening at Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square, on 22 August, this special concert adaptation of Guys and Dolls will star Dennis Waterman as the narrator, Ruthie Henshall as Adelaide, Anna-Jane Casey as Sarah, Tim Howar as Sky Masterson and Graham Bickley as Nathan Detroit.

Union And Theatre503 Win At The Off-West End Awards!

Porn: The Musical won Best New Musical for its run at Theatre503 following a successful stint at Edinburgh 2009, and the Union Theatre's production of Assassins won Best Production and Best Sound Design while its production of Bells Are Ringing, starring Anna-Jane Casey, won Best Choreographer for the work of Alistair David.
