THE TRAP DOOR THEATRE is proud to present The Locketeer Adapted from The Numbered by Elias Canetti, Adapted and Directed by Catherine Sullivan

The Locketeer is an adaptation of Elias Canetti's play from 1956, The Numbered wherein a nameless future state claims its power by imposing life spans on its citizens. This competition for status causes social paranoia and a tragicomic refusal of facts. The adaptation will be devised with the ensemble.

The Factory Theater presents the first production of its 25th anniversary season, the world premiere of Captain Steve's Caring Kingdom, playing at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St., October 27 December 9. The new play is both written and directed by Company Member Mike Ooi. Previews are Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. Opening night is Friday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. The regular run, November 3 December 9, is Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for previews, $18 for students and seniors and $25 for general admission. The Trap Door Theatre is proud to announce a two-week extension for THE FAIRYTALE LIVES OF RUSSIAN GIRLS, written by Meg Miroshnik and drected by Nicole Wiesner. The production will now close on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 8PM.
