The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts has announced the complete casting for its much anticipated summer production of Damn Yankees. Its fifth season takes place tomorrow, September 18 - November 23, 2014 and features 130 productions from around the world in categories including drama, comedy, stand-up, mime, improv, musical, and many more.
Ann Morrison (Artistic Director), David A. Coyle (Managing Director), and Blake Walton (Associate Artistic Director) have recently incorporated the nonprofit Gotta Van Productions, Inc., which was initially created to produce solo plays by Morrison and Walton in both Sarasota and New York City. Its mission was expanded when Coyle joined the team as Managing Director, to include the development, production, and presentation of solo works and new small-cast plays by other artists.

The fifth annual United Solo Theatre Festival invites local and international artists to submit their shows to the world's largest solo theatre festival. World premieres and already-produced shows are equally welcome. Submitted proposals may represent storytelling, improv, dance, musical, puppetry, multimedia, stand-up, magic, tragedy, comedy, and other forms of solo performance. Selected shows will be presented between September 18 and November 23, 2014 at Theatre Row in New York City. The deadline for submissions is Monday, March 3, 2014.
