The Show Goes On Productions presents To Carry On… a Tribute to the Life and Music of Laura Nyro written and performed by Mimi Cohen. Gretchen Cryer directs and Jeffrey Klitz music directs. The production opens on Ms. Nyro's 66th birthday, Friday, October 18th, and runs for six performances beginning Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 27, 2013, at The TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor in NYC.

"The King," or rather four male performers onstage paying homage to Elvis Presley through the four periods of his fabulous career, will appear at Harris Center/Three Stages as part of a 60 city tour. "The show has historical, nostalgic and emotional qualities. People are surprised. It takes them on a journey" (The Advocate).

(EPE), announced today that it will kick off the 2013/2014 touring season of the acclaimed theatrical attraction ELVIS LIVES 'THE ULTIMATE ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTIST EVENT' in Folsom, Calif. on October 7, 2013. This September, a cast of Hollywood stars will take the stage for special ensemble readings of Act 1 of Surviving Grace, an original play penned by comedy writer Trish Vradenburg ('Designing Women,' 'Family Ties,' 'Kate and Allie'), co-founder of USAgainstAlzheimer's a national advocacy organization committed to stopping Alzheimer's by 2020. Based on Trish's experience as a caregiver to her mother who died of Alzheimer's in 1992, Surviving Grace is a brutally honest, irreverent and moving story laced with humor that sheds light on the emotional ups and downs that 15.4 million Alzheimer's caregivers go through each day in the U.S. The play comes to California after being produced at The Kennedy Center, off-Broadway, cross-country and in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The first star-studded reading was at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC last fall.

Promoting THE WAY HE WAS, Hamlisch's widow Balir Hamlisch revealed during the TCA press tour that her late husband 'had a very large music library... there's a lot, some unpublished,' said Blair Hamlisch. 'It's floor-to-ceiling, and I've been told it's one of the largest of a modern day composer.'

Producers Jeffrey Richards and John N. Hart Jr., in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), have announced that the box office will open on Thursday, August 8th for the 17-week limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) with performances beginning Thursday, September 5, 2013, and an opening night set for Thursday, September 26th. The production will star multiple Tony and Emmy Award-winner Cherry Jones as Amanda Wingfield, film and stage star Zachary Quinto as Tom, two-time Tony-nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as Jim, the Gentleman Caller.

Yesterday, we learned that Atlanta's Theater of the Stars had cancelled the July 9 - 14 engagement of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story at the Fox Theatre. Today we've learned is that the entire theater is in jeopardy if they are unable to raise $1 million dollars by August 30th, with the first $500,000 by July 12th.

David Saxe Productions is excited to announce "VEGAS! The Show," its flagship production in the Saxe Theater at Planet Hollywood, has reached its three year milestone.
