David Saxe Productions is excited to announce "VEGAS! The Show," its flagship production in the Saxe Theater at Planet Hollywood, has reached its three year milestone. The show opened to rave reviews on June 26, 2010. Since its opening, over 1.5 million guests have enjoyed the production that tells the story of the history of Las Vegas through music and dance from Vegas' most memorable icons.

Over the years, fans have been thrilled that there is finally a show in Las Vegas about Las Vegas. Guests can enjoy their favorite iconic songs from beloved artists who put Las Vegas on the map including The Rat Pack, Wayne Newton, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and Sonny & Cher. Add the most beautiful showgirls and dancers in town and you get everything you would expect from a Las Vegas music and dance spectacular.

Winner of the "Best Show in Las Vegas" award from Broadway World, "VEGAS! The Show" features an 11-piece live orchestra led by Pat Caddick and Jerry Lopez, beautiful showgirls, the best dancers in Las Vegas, amazing specialty acts and award-winning singers. It takes a cast and crew of 100 to keep the show running seven nights a week, two shows a night.

The show's creator and producer, David Saxe, reflected on the milestone, "'VEGAS! The Show' pays respect to what Vegas used to be back in its heyday and what it should be now. Audiences are finally realizing that real Vegas entertainment isn't those shows with clowns in leotards, and they are loving being introduced to what Vegas used to be and what it should be once again."

"I was born and raised in Las Vegas. My mom was a dancer in 'Folies Bergere,' my dad a band leader for The Rat Pack. One of my sisters was a dancer in Vegas shows and the other is a famous Vegas magician. I literally grew up backstage. This show is about everything my family stood for. It's all about the talent. My goal is to connect with the audience and win them over. From Ann-Margret to Sammy Davis Jr. to Elvis, they all worked so hard they would be covered in sweat and break down in exhaustion nightly. That's what I wanted to bring back to Las Vegas. Enough with shows about clowns in leotards; 'VEGAS! The Show' is what Las Vegas is truly all about."

Director and choreographer Tiger Martina said of the anniversary, "I am so very proud of my cast and crew for making the show such a great success. I am very excited to continually have the opportunity to let the show evolve."

See the show nightly at 7 and 9 p.m. in the Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood. For tickets, please contact the box office at 702-260-7200 or visit www.davidsaxe.com.
