Ann Crumb Completes Casting For Arvada's SUNSET BOULEVARD 9/14-10/10

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has selected Ann Crumb, renown for her work on Broadway and the West End, to play the role of Norma Desmond in the second fully staged regional production in the U.S. of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, which opens September 14 and runs through October 10, 2010.

Gurland and Farley Sing Rodgers and Hammerstein at Beechman, 9/26

kef theatrical productions has announced the return of GURLAND AND FARLEY SING RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN. The one-night only performance will take place at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 26th at the Laurie Beechman Theater in the West Bank Café, 407 West 42nd Street at Ninth Avenue. The show features David Gurland and Brian Farley with music direction by Tracey Stark. Tickets are $15 (plus a $15 food/drink minimum) and reservations can be made by calling the Beechman at 212.695.6909. STAGE TUBE: Solos from Arvada's SUNSET BOULEVARD

Arvada Center presents the Denver debut of SUNSET BOULEVARD featuring Broadway veterans Ann Crumb and Kevin Earley. Performances will run through October 10. Videos were recently released of Crumb and Early singing 'As If We Never Said Goodbye' and 'Sunset Boulevard'.

One of Broadway's longest-running musicals makes its regional professional premiere at The Media Theatre May 5-June 6. 'Rent', Jonathan Larson's rock and roll odyssey of the lives and loves of a group of friends on Manhattan's Lower East Side, became such a huge phenomenon that it spawned the careers of several popular performers (Adam Pascal, Taye Diggs, Idina Menzel, and Daphne Rubin-Vega) and ran for 12 years.

Calloway, White et al. Garner '10 MAC Award Noms.; Uggams Honored, McNight Hosts 5/4

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs has announced the nominees for the 2010 24th Annual MAC Awards. The ceremony honoring the nominees, will take place on May 4, 2010 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, and will be hosted by Sharon McNight. Leslie Uggams will be honored for Lifetime Achievement, with Board of Directors Awards being presented to Peter Leavy and playbill.com. The event will begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Lennie Watts will direct the evening, with Tracy Stark musical directing.

On April 24, Malcom Gets, Ann Crumb, Darius De Haas, and many more will be fetured in Harbor Lights' production of Stephen Schwartz- Making Music. The show will be presented at 8 PM at the St. George Theater in Staten Island.

The Media Theatre's production of 'Master Class' starring Tony nominated actress Ann Crumb as opera diva Maria Callas will play its final show on Saturday February 27.
