'Rent', Jonathan Larson's rock and roll odyssey of the lives and loves of a group of friends on Manhattan's Lower East Side, became such a huge phenomenon that it spawned the careers of several popular performers (Adam Pascal, Taye Diggs, Idina Menzel, and Daphne Rubin-Vega) and ran for 12 years.

King Blues Club & Grill, and will be hosted by Sharon McNight. Leslie Uggams will be honored for Lifetime Achievement, with Board of Directors Awards being presented to Peter Leavy and playbill.com. The event will begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Lennie Watts will direct the evening, with Tracy Stark musical directing.
