Last night's broadcast of TELEMUNDO's 2015 “Premios Tu Mundo” ranked #1 in Spanish-language television and delivered its best-ever performance averaging 2,363,000 total viewers (+24% vs. 2014) and 1,159,000 adults 18-49 (+9% vs. 2014), according to Nielsen. The three hour show,hosted by the network's Angelica Vale, Raul Gonzalez, Maria Elisa Camargo, Gabriel Porras, Rafael Amaya and Carmen Aub, and featuring top musical acts such as Paulina Rubio, J Balvin, Nicky Jam andLucero, reached a cumulative audience of 5,309,000 total viewers and 2,764,000 adults 18-49, +29% and +24% vs. last year. Red carpet special “La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” delivered its best performance to date with 1,463,000 total viewers, and also averaged 589,000 adults 18-49.

TELEMUNDO announced today it will honor Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco, at its 2015 “Premios Tu Mundo” for his lifelong contributions to Spanish-language television and popular culture around the world. “Premios Tu Mundo” will broadcast live on TELEMUNDO Thursday, August 20, at 8PM/7c, preceded by the blue carpet special “La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” at 7PM/6c, from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

 In an unprecedented move, six of the most renowned television personalities will gather at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, to co-host the 2015 “Premios Tu Mundo” (Your World Awards). Angelica Vale, Raul Gonzalez, Gabriel Porras, Maria Elisa Camargo,Rafael Amaya and Carmen Aub will not be missed by telenovela fans during this special evening, as they will make a grand appearance as hosts of the 4th annual awards show, which will broadcast live on TELEMUNDO Thursday, August 20, at 8PM/7c, preceded by the blue carpet special “La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” at 7PM/6c.
