Last night, the biggest names from Broadway and Hollywood took the stage to support Hillary Clinton in STRONGER TOGETHER, a special evening at the theater to benefit the Hillary Victory Fund. The star-studded show featured never-before-seen duets and appearances from Julia Roberts, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Emily Blunt, Neil Patrick Harris, Helen Mirren and many more. In addition, Former President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton were on hand to speak to the crowd.

One of the event's highlights was Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and his HAMILTON co-star Renee Elise Goldsberry, performing a revised election-themed version of the hip hop musical's number,  'Ten Duel Commandments.'

The sixth season of FX's American Horror Story premiered last night, and after taking a completely different approach in marketing, we also learned that the season was formatted quite different than we are used. With the excitement for future seasons always stemming from the announcement of the theme, something that AHS has become known for and what makes it so exciting and refreshing each year, the knowledge that the team were choosing to keep this years theme closely under wraps and in much guarded secrecy until the series premiere (so successfully that the team on Thrones could probably take a few pointers!) was a shock and interesting choice. Two River Theater launches its 2016/2017 season with August Wilson's 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' from 9/10 to 10/9. The show is directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Broadwayworld.com interviewed Chante Adams who will play Dussie Mae in the show.
