Cast and Dates Announced for 2021 National Tour of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL

Returning for the 2021 holiday season, Big League Productions, Inc. has announced the tour dates and cast of the critically acclaimed national tour of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The tour will open for preview performances in Waterbury, CT, followed by a two-week sit down in Boston, and engagements in Baltimore and Durham, NC.

Trinity Rep Returns To Live Performances With A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Trinity Repertory Company returns to live performances with its 45th annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol. Noted for being a new production each year, the 2021 show will be a celebration of community, culture, and ritual.

Photo Flash: Trinity Rep Closes Out Season with RAGTIME

Trinity Rep closes out its 2017-18 Season with the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, which was written by Terrence McNally (book), Stephen Flaherty (music), and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Under the direction of Artistic Director Curt Columbus, Trinity Rep's production examines how the musical, which is set in 1906, reflects the country's current political and social climate. Based on the celebrated 1975 novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, the musical tackles race, women's rights, immigration, and workers' rights. Ragtime runs April 26 - May 27 in Trinity Rep's Elizabeth and Malcom Chace Theater, with press opening on Monday, April 30 at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $25. The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Nominations were completely reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended October 31, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors.

Trinity Rep to Close Season with World Premiere of New Sarah Ruhl & Todd Almond Musical

Trinity Rep closes out Season 51: The Necessity of Human Connection with the world premiere of Tony-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl and composer Todd Almond's Melancholy Play: a chamber musical, directed by Obie Award-winner Liesl Tommy. Melancholy Play: a chamber musical runs May 28 through June 28, 2015 in Trinity Rep's Dowling Theater.
