Just last night, 'Submissions Only' co-creators Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger celebrated the songs of their hit web series at 54 Below. Under the music direction of Michael Croiter, the Submissions Only House Band, along with a number of exciting guest stars, performed a selection of music from all three seasons of the show, including original songs like 'Two Cents,' 'Wrong Spot' and 'Nobody Does Mean Like Me.'

If you are a BroadwayWorld regular, you will recognize Mark Gessner as Eric Mousse, the quite, crossword playing cast member of JEREMY'S FORT on SUBMISSIONS ONLY. Also, if you have watched TV in the last decade, chance are good that you've seen him in some very popular commercials. Recently, Mark has been a member of the first season of the hit webseries THE RESIDUALS. Recently, Mark spoke to BWW about his experiences on popular webseries, why SUBMISSIONS ONLY star and writer Kate Weatherhead is like Derrick Jeter, and his role on the upcoming Starz series POWER alongside 50 Cent.

The Freeman Studio, the Tribeca-based acting studio led by Scott Freeman, continues to supplement its acting curriculum with an unusual mix of panels, talks and workshops in May. The so-called extracurricular activities, which give actors a rich environment in which to broaden creatively and even experiment, include free industry panels and talks, and low-cost workshops called Saturday Specials. Most of these add-ons are led by notable theatre artists, are either free or low-cost, and are open to the public.

Anyone who travels for work knows that living out of suitcases and sleeping in hotels every night can be taxing. Well, recently three members of the SISTER ACT First National Tour decided to liven up life on the road by creating 'Sunday Intermission Covers.' Every Sunday, Ashley Moniz, Chris Cooke, and Tad Wilson quickly change costumes and then set up in front of a camera to sing a new, stripped down song. Recently the three spoke to BroadwayWorld about the project and their challenge for the rest of the Broadway community.

On May 19th in Manhattan, LaGuardia Arts High School Parents Association will celebrate 'Peace, Love & The Power of Song' with a tribute to alumnus and folk legend Peter Yarrow.

The 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out tonight at NYU Skirball Center, hosted by acclaimed husband and wife actors and comedians, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. This year's event once again benefited The Actors Fund.
