Following Transport Group's 2011 production of Queen of the Mist, our 20th Century Project continues into its second decade (1910 - 1920) with an urgent new revival of John Van Druten's beloved classic, I Remember Mama, directed by Jack Cummings III. The production will be performed at The Gym at Judson, through April 20, 2014.

Four-time Tony® Award winning playwright Terrence McNally just celebrated two milestones on The Great White Way-his 20th Broadway production and the 50th Anniversary of his Broadway debut-with the opening night of his newest play, Mothers and Sons, at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) last night, March 24, 2014. Over the course of five decades, Mr. McNally has chronicled the human experience with a wide range of works including Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, The Full Monty, Ragtime, Master Class, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Kiss of the Spider Woman,The Rink, The Ritz, and Bad Habits. BroadwayWorld was there for McNally's big opening night and below you can check out photos from the star-studded red carpet. The ninth annual edition of Broadway Backwards, a one-night-only performance produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefiting BC/EFA and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York, took place last night. This year's special event featured the talents of Michael Berresse (Kiss Me, Kate; A Chorus Line), Tony winner Beth Leavel (Elf, The Drowsy Chaperone), Tony winner Debra Monk (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, TV's 'Girls'), Ken Page (Ain't Misbehavin', Cats), Tony winner Billy Porter (Kinky Boots), Tony nominee Andrew Rannells(The Book of Mormon, TV's 'Girls'), Tony nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, TV's 'Johnny and the Sprites.'), and more This year's edition of Broadway Backwards (#bwaybackwards) was held at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 W 45th Street, NYC), current home to the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Kinky Boots. A limited number of $40 rush tickets for the much-anticipated ninth annual edition of Broadway Backwards will be released for sale at 6:30 PM Monday, March 24, 2014. The rush tickets will be sold outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). They will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.

The award winning Choice Films, Michael Cohen, Robin Reinach & Ben Feldman will present an invite-only reading of the new play CONSENT, by critically acclaimed playwright David Rhodes, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Josh Hecht. The reading will take place in New York City on March 31st, 2014.

'Submissions Only,' Broadway's favorite webseries, is back tonight, Monday, March 17, at 9:00 PM with episode 2! From 9:00 PM - 10:30 PM, you can join the online celebration with Submissions Only cast members Kate Wetherhead, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Colin Hanlon, Santino Fontana, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, and more as they share behind-the-scenes stories on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #SubOnly3.

Little Me, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

Adam Wachter's original musical Tarrytown will get a private industry reading on Monday, March 10th in New York City. Tarrytown is a one act present day musical loosely based on Washington Irving's 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow.' Wachter has written the book, music & lyrics. Andrew Keenan-Bolger ('Submissions Only') directs.
